Rondo

i believe rondo is the best point guard in the eastern conference. he is playing at a phenomenal level this year nearly averaging a double double (13.7 PPG and 9.8 AST) not to mention his league leading 2.38 steals per game. He also broke the Celtics franchise records for AST( he has 751 so far) and steals ( he has 183 so far) in a season with still about 7 games left to play. in the whole league id say he is in the top five (Chris Paul, Steve Nash, deron Williams and Chauncey billups take up the other spots in the top 5). he may even be the best player on the Celtics but thats a really close one. he should be a great player for the Celtics for years to come.

divisons

i was thinking about the changing of divisions thing that Derek was talking about in class for his project and i don't believe they should follow through with this. the reason is this would take away classic rivalries such as the Yankees and red sox. if they were to change the divisions then they should defiantly keep the sox and yanks together. even if they were to move either the blue jay or oriels to another division they still wouldn't be a top two team in any other division. even if they were to win a different division other than the Al east if the team wasn't good enough in the first place to take the division from the red sox or yankees then they will just lose in the first round of the playoffs anyway. But i guess this would raise revenue for these teams, but only if they made the playoffs which isn't guaranteed. The last time i remember the divisions changing is when the brewers moved from the AL east the the NL about 13 years ago. but i belive you cannot break up great rivalries such as the Yankees and red sox
